Privacy Policy — Momera.ME

Momera.ME (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is developed by iDataGear Inc. The short version: Momera.ME is a local-first app. Your content stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.

What the app stores

Everything you create in Momera.ME — text notes, voice recordings and their transcripts, photos, drawings, attached files, locations, and GPS movement tracks — is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. We have no servers that receive this content, and there is no account or cloud sync.

Permissions and why they're used

The app requests certain permissions solely to provide on-device features. Data captured through these permissions stays on your device.

• Microphone — to record voice notes and perform on-device speech-to-text. Audio is processed locally; no audio is sent to us or any third party.
• Location (including background location) — to tag a moment with a place and to record GPS “movement tracks” of a walk, run, or drive that you explicitly start. Background location lets a track keep recording while your screen is off. Location data is stored on your device and shown to you on a map; it is never transmitted or shared.
• Camera — to capture a photo as a moment.
• Photos / media — to attach images from your gallery to a moment.
• Physical activity / step counter — to count steps during a movement track.
• Notifications — to show the status of an active recording or tracking session.
• Screen recording (MediaProjection) — used only when you tap “Export as video” to create a shareable replay of a movement track. This is one-time and user-initiated.

Network use

The app works offline. It connects to the internet only to download the offline speech-to-text model once (on first voice use). This is a one-way download of app resources; no personal data or content is uploaded in the process.

Data sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone. Content leaves your device only when you choose to export or share it (for example, using the export-to-JSON feature or your device's share sheet to send a track video). In those cases, you control the destination.

Analytics and tracking

The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not build a profile of you.

Children's privacy

Momera.ME is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed at children under 13.

Your control over your data

• Export / import: you can export all your data as a JSON file at any time from Settings.
• Delete: you can delete individual moments and media within the app (Settings › Manage storage), or remove all app data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
